Please call us for guidance in setting up your artwork correctly!

Colour

All printers convert colours to CMYK and to make sure your print comes out the correct colour please set your document colour to CMYK. If this is set to RGB our printers will automatically convert it to CMYK which usually causes a slight shift.

Pantone colours are supported by our printer however they generate the colour from CMYK which means the colours are very close but not exact. If you set your Pantone colours as spot colours these will be recognised by the software used though we recommend providing a hard copy to match the colour to if you are at all concerned about the colour. We can then provide samples as needed.

Proofs

We always provide a pdf proof by email for you to approve before the job goes to print. Please note that it is your responsibility to check proofs and to check spellings etc. When viewing proofs on a PC, please note the colour does often look slightly different to viewing a printed sample.

Providing artwork to Colprint

Please either email us your artwork to ask@colprint.co.uk or if it is too large a file size to email, please just give us a call and we will send you an upload link.
